The first glimpse of the colorful characters included in this daily reprint of Islands The news was sent to readers by a welcome package.

For some, however this friendly, yet charming image was not enough. To them, Island News represented a certain class. In some ways, it was true. People who lived in older homes or frequented Fire Island were considered more conservative and had a set of beliefs that were more geared towards the preservation of the value of their property. And they were, of course, the most stereotypical group of readers to be found among the readers of this newspaper. Learn more about Island News Headlines now.

Life on Long Island was something of an uphill grind. It was an endless grind. This included, of all things, putting together the puzzles, the daily and weekly puzzles. (That’s another article.) Keep coming for updates.

One notable resident of this charming slice of heaven was Frank Shamrock. He was an insurance salesman for the giant insurance company, AIG. Frank was so passionate about his job that was forced to take the opportunity to leave his job to pursue his passion. He bought a tiny one-bedroom house on an unassuming lot in the East Bay of Long Island. It was a homey small oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was just the right place for the couple.

Shamrock was a fan of the tranquil atmosphere. The gray concrete of his driveway provided him with a sense of peace – even though there were busy cars whizzing through, he felt at peace knowing that he was on a quiet street. There was no noise inside or around the property, no barking dogs and no children playing, or barking dogs being yelled at. He felt serene. It was like stepping into the vast blue ocean.

Frank was walking to home from the mall, when he spotted a horrifying sight of a bullet hole in the head. He fell to the ground, unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he was in the hospital bed breathing with a lot of effort. He was amazed at how his life could have been completely flipped upside down in such a short time. He didn’t want to see this occur to him. But it was necessary to ask.

Frank survived and was treated. However there was one major question on his calendar what would he do next? Should he return to South Beach, or move to another area of New York City? Frank had always considered himself an independent artist, self-employed looking to make his own home and his family. Why would he not think about moving again? Perhaps even a trip to other islands in the world where he might find meaningful employment?

Fortunately, he was surrounded by the right people. Two extremely generous and understanding people such as his best friend his sister-in-law, as well as his landlord, all helped in Frank’s time of need. They made him feel so more confident about himself, even despite the setback. They gave him the support he needed to continue to fight despite the physical limitations. Island News did an outstanding job in capturing his healing.
